Thought I'd take a quick moment to announce we kept Chicken. The pet adoption agency was taking a while and meanwhile Chicken got sick so we had to make an emergency trip to the vet last Sunday. I think that sealed the deal right there. I'd already captured him, got him fixed, watched him grow from a feral, hissing,
scaredy, doesn't trust a soul kitten to a now frequent lap sitter. I already thought he was
flippin adorable...then we had to nurse him back to health. What was I supposed to do? Plus he fits in with the family. My other cat
Pudge loves being a big brother. Lola likes that
Pudge has a playmate that isn't her. And I told David just make me give him away and I will...yeah, he couldn't do it either.
Above is one of my favorite pics taken with our
new camera.
Chicken Lickin, Chicky-Chickster, Chicken Pot Pie, welcome home, for good!

Yay! I wish your kitty and my kitty could have a playdate - Chicken and Bean!
So cute! I was just saying to Si this weekend that I'd like to have an orange tabby someday. I love Sam and Rosie, but we were cat-sitting for an orange tabby (and 2 other cats) for 2 weeks, and I really fell in love with the tabby.
the same thing happened with my parents last summer. they were foster parents and they had to nurse two of the kittens out of a bad illness. it was clear they were never leaving. they turned out to be super sweethearts- I'm sure Chicken will too!
(oh and I have that camera and I LOVE it!)
Yeah for the Chickster!!!
