Finally, I did some sewing in my new house! Man, it felt good. And the best part? I even finished what I started: curtains for the kitchen! Take a look...
All done in about an hour and a half! I love curtains. So easy...it was just what I needed! I've been having major troubles settling into a routine since the move so I just feel fabulous that I actually busted out my machine and made something! Seriously, the last 2 weeks I have watched so much cable, it is truly sickening! Most of it HGTV too. An old favorite,
House Hunters is stil on plus many many other shows...I haven't had cable in 4 years --it is so worsened by that, I can't control myself! I've also discovered a show on the Discovery Channel called
The Alaska Experiment. It makes Survivor look completely lame and man, OK, I'm gonna stop talking TV now, gotta finish watching the Daily Show...and see what is on HGTV.

Very cute! Kitchen curtains were the first things I made in my house too. I can't believe you lived without cable for 4 years - I don't watch a lot of TV, but there are definitely some shows I can't live without!
I love curtains, too - so easy and so effective at "making" the room!
I wish I watched less TV. I REALLY wish my hubby and son would watch less!
