Read for Fun

I know I am a little late...but I discovered this little summer reading club tonight and decided to give it a go. Since I finished my own library's Summer Reading Club and since summer technically doesn't end for quite a while longer, might as well start up a new one, right? I think this little club truly gets to the spirit of reading for fun as an adult. Here are just a few things you get credit for:

:: Reading with a Frozen Treat
:: Reading Outside
:: Quit Reading a Book You Don't Like
:: Read with Fresh Flowers
:: Reading in Bed

To quote the site: "It's not intended to encourage reading lots of books. Instead, it marks the moments that we, as adults, can grab for reading. The five-minute summer vacations."

The design freak in me also loves the little reading record she has designed.

Tomorrow, I'll have to pick myself up some fresh flowers and some ice cream to go with my book! And on that note...what have you been reading this summer? I could use a few suggestions...Maternity leave has me feeling a little out of the loop as far as a good book is concerned!

I just started _My Little Red Book_ by Nalebuff. It's a collection of essays women have written about their first periods. I think it's going to be very good.
