A Little Fabric Love

After morning Mass with my mom, I hit Quilt Beginnings for their annual Super Bowl Sunday Sale today...I bought a little fabric...well, kind of a lot, but it really cannot be helped sometimes. I have no plans in particular for any of it, just couldn't pass it up, since it was on sale and all. I wanted to buy more, but I stopped myself...except for these last few pieces:

That's right! Brown Bear, Brown Bear fabric! Adorable, yes? How could I, a children's librarian, pass that up? The only sad thing is they were sold out of this print. The employees bought it all! But they informed me they are getting more. Now, what to do with it? I want to make something interactive with it and was thinking of making some bean bags with the square pieces or maybe a stuffed cube? Or even a fabric matching game, but the repeat might be too big for that...any other ideas?

Those are adorable fabrics! I just saw the Eric Carle fabrics online the other day - in an email from the Eric Carle Museum. (It may be pricier from them, but it's an option...)

I love the stuffed cube idea. Maybe you could add a little bell inside so that it would jingle when you shake it.

I know it's sort of cliche . . .but what about a fabric book? Stuffed cubes . . . or what about fabric boxes? I can't tell how large the panels are, but you could line the boxes with the children fabric, and put the book page panels on the outsides. So cute!
