Starts and Stops
I've been piddling away at a ripple blanket (okay I've actually only chained the first 216 stitches and barely started the first row) and a hat. The hat will most likely be finished first...It is from the book Knits For All Seasons. I predict I'll finish it sometime in the spring when I don't need a hat anymore. It should turn out like this.
So we are officially still just renters. I am a little disappointed we did not get the house we bid on, but I know our bid was pretty low and we were not 100% sure of the house anyway. I think I need a break from house hunting. It is also seriously impacting crafty time! For this being a buyers market I feel so bummed by what we have found. I suppose we are just picky, but I thought house hunting would be much quicker and easier than this...and cheaper. I am floored by how much people want for some houses. And that is it for house talk from me. I have to knit just to keep from obsessing over houses. I've even been having Money Pit nightmares.
I think hear a cute brown hat calling...

House hunting sucks. That is why you HAVE to be picky, so that you don't have to go through it again any time soon! That is a cute hat pattern. Be sure to bring your knitting with you to PLA! I hope to get a RAVELRY meet=up going. I have no idea when/where yet, though. LOL
I remember this hat from her blog!!I love Soulmama!! I'm bummed about the house, we would have only been 15-20 min from you!!!
